A three year full time course for the training of teachers in the Alexander Technique.

The course fulfils the requirements laid down by the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (STAT)  and leads to a certificate of qualification to teach the Alexander Technique and to teaching membership of STAT.  Teaching certificates will be granted on a continuous assessment basis and on the successful completion of training.  There is normally a probationary period of one term

Postgraduate Training Options With prior arrangement with the Head of Training it is possible to undertake postgraduate training on a daily, weekly or termly basis.  This enables teachers to participate as a student in the class and further improve their own 'use' and 'Hands-On' work. Some teachers choose to visit for 1 or more days per week on a long term basis whilst others, choose to spend occasional periods of a week or a term in the school.
